The final draw for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations has been completed, confirming mouth-watering group fixtures ahead of the tournament in Morocco.
Hosts Morocco headline Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal and Kenya, setting up a fiercely competitive opening section. Group B features reigning champions South Africa, who will face Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Tanzania in their quest to retain the title.
Nigeria, the most successful nation in the history of the competition, will contest Group C with Zambia, Egypt and Malawi. The Super Falcons are expected to face stiff resistance, particularly from Zambia, who have emerged as one of the continent’s strongest sides in recent years.
Group D brings together Ghana, Cameroon, Mali and Cape Verde, a section that promises intensity and tactical battles from start to finish.
The tournament will be staged across four venues in Morocco, with matches scheduled for Moulay Al Hassan Stadium and Al Madina Stadium in Rabat, Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, and the Complexe Sportif de Fès in Fès.
