Barau Football Club have confirmed the signing of six new players as they bolster their squad for the second stanza of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The new additions were officially unveiled on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, by the club’s General Manager, Dominic Iorfa, alongside Vice President Kabiru Baita.
Club officials urged the players to give their best both on and off the pitch as Barau FC push for progress and improved results in the second half of the campaign.
Former Kun Khalifat FC midfielder Ebuka Nwokorie headlines the signings. The midfielder has been in impressive form this season, scoring six goals in the current NPFL campaign.
Also unveiled were Moses Tsehuan, a centre back signed from Nasarawa United, Akpo Godwin, a centre forward who arrives from Afghanistan-based Attack Energy FC, and Ezeonye Henry, another centre forward from Kun Khalifat FC.
The club also added Uche Moses, a left winger from Kun Khalifat FC, and Nwaodu Chukwudi, an attacking midfielder who joins from Enyimba FC.
All six players have agreed to two-year contracts that will keep them at Barau FC until 2028.
Supporters of the Maliya Boys are already looking forward to seeing the new signings in action as the NPFL resumes for the second stanza of the season.
