Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has officially obtained the UEFA B coaching licence, a significant step in his professional development. The Scottish Football Association confirmed the qualification on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Offor joined Akwa United in August 2025 with the mission of securing promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League. He had previously earned his UEFA C licence in 2024, underlining his commitment to continuous coaching advancement.
Under Offor’s guidance, Akwa United currently lead Conference B of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League, with the second round of matches set to begin next weekend.
Chairman Joseph Eno congratulated Offor, calling the achievement “a boost to the team’s technical growth and ambition for promotion this season”.
