Rangers Determined to Extend Unbeaten Run, Says Ilechukwu

Rangers technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has declared that his side are determined to maintain their recent impressive run in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Flying Antelopes are unbeaten in their last four NPFL matches and continue to gather momentum in the campaign.

Rangers played out a goalless draw against Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium last Sunday, securing what Ilechukwu described as an important point on the road.

The eight-time NPFL champions will return to Enugu this weekend to face league contenders Nasarawa United in what promises to be a keenly contested fixture.

Ilechukwu expressed confidence in his team’s preparation and dismissed fatigue as a potential factor.

“We will keep our heads held high because the point gained in Katsina is very important to us,” Ilechukwu told Rangers media.

“We are facing one of the best in the league, Nasarawa United. They are a good side. Fatigue will not be an excuse because we started preparations early, immediately we returned from Katsina.”

Rangers will look to build on their solid run and strengthen their position on the NPFL table when they host Nasarawa United in Enugu.
