The quarter-final line-up for the 2025/26 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup has been confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage fixtures on Sunday.
Egyptian sides Zamalek and Al Masry headline the list of qualified teams, with North African clubs dominating the last eight.
Each group featured four teams playing six matches, with only the top two progressing to the knockout stage.
Group A: USM Alger, Olympique de Safi Progress
USM Alger finished top of Group A with 14 points after an unbeaten run of four wins and two draws. The Algerian side conceded just four goals in six matches.
Olympique de Safi secured second place with 13 points, losing only once during the campaign. Both sides confirmed qualification before the final round.
Group B: Wydad and Maniema Advance
Wydad AC topped Group B with 15 points, winning five of their six matches.
Maniema Union finished second on 12 points, three ahead of Azam. Azam and Nairobi United were eliminated after finishing third and fourth respectively.
Group C: CR Belouizdad and Otoho d’Oyo Through
CR Belouizdad claimed 12 points to secure qualification from Group C, scoring nine goals and conceding four.
Otoho d’Oyo sealed second place with nine points, finishing above Singida Black Stars and Stellenbosch.
Group D: Egyptian Duo Edge Tight Race
Zamalek SC topped Group D with 11 points after a decisive 2-1 win over Kaizer Chiefs in their final match.
Al Masry SC finished second with 10 points following a 2-1 victory against Zesco United.
Kaizer Chiefs also ended on 10 points but were eliminated on goal difference in one of the tightest finishes of the group stage.
With Algeria, Morocco and Egypt supplying the majority of qualifiers, North Africa holds a strong presence in the last eight. Attention now turns to the quarter-final draw as the race for continental silverware intensifies.
