Barau FC have confirmed that Shammasu Muhammad, survived a ghastly motor accident that occurred along the Sabon Gida road in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
In a statement released on Friday, the club said the incident happened on Thursday and involved a Sharon vehicle carrying several passengers.
Information received by the club secretary from the player’s brother confirmed that Shammasu Muhammad survived the crash, although some passengers lost their lives in the tragic incident.
Barau FC General Manager Dominic Iorfa expressed sympathy to the families affected by the accident on behalf of the club’s management and players.
Iorfa also gave thanks for the survival of Shammasu Muhammad and prayed for his quick recovery following the ordeal.
The club further extended prayers for those who lost their lives in the accident.
