Nigeria Premier Football League side Wikki Tourists have expressed their condolences to player Kabiru Muhammad following the death of his mother.
In an official statement released by the club, Wikki Tourists confirmed that Muhammad’s mother passed away on the evening of 9 March 2026.
The Bauchi-based club described the moment as a difficult period for the player and his family, adding that the entire Wikki Tourists community stands with them during their time of grief.
“The thoughts and prayers of the management, technical crew, players and supporters of Wikki Tourists FC are with Kabiru Muhammad and his family during this difficult moment,” the club said.
The club also prayed for the late mother, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
Wikki Tourists further prayed that Muhammad and his family are given the strength and patience to bear the loss.
The club concluded its message by wishing the deceased eternal peace.
