Enyimba Stars Surprise Loyal Kiddies Fans With Gifts in Aba Outreach

Enyimba FC delivered a memorable community gesture in Aba on Thursday, rewarding two of their youngest and most dedicated supporters with gifts during a surprise visit.

The Nigeria Premier Football League side visited the home of Kamsichukwu and Somtochukwu Anamasonye at Ugo Street, off High Taste Road, Obohia, where players presented school items to support their return after the Easter holidays.

The delegation was led by team captain Kalu Nweke and included goalkeeper Kelvin Ogunga, top scorer Chidera Michael and youngster Samuel Okechukwu, whose presence drew excitement from neighbours and residents.

The visit formed part of the club’s Kiddies-Fan Outreach initiative, designed to recognise loyalty among young supporters and strengthen ties within the community. The programme was conceived by Sporting Director Daniel Eke and approved by Chairman Nwankwo Kanu.

Speaking during the presentation, Eke praised the parents for encouraging their children’s passion for the club and urged the youngsters to remain focused on their education.

He said the club recognised their commitment and would continue to support them in meaningful ways.

Nweke also commended the children’s dedication, noting that their effort to attend matches despite challenges serves as motivation for the players.

The children received the gifts in an emotional moment witnessed by their mother and members of the community, many of whom applauded the initiative.

Mrs Ifeanyichukwu Anamasonye expressed gratitude to the club, describing the visit as a rare honour for her family. She pledged continued support for Enyimba and assured that her children would remain committed both academically and as fans.

The outreach underlines Enyimba’s commitment to community engagement and youth development, reinforcing the club’s reputation for building strong connections beyond football.
