Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser Obinna Uzoho has labelled the club’s remaining five fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League as decisive finals in their push to end the season strongly.
The Owerri-based side face a demanding run-in against Warri Wolves, Plateau United, Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors and Wikki Tourists.
Their immediate focus is a Matchday 34 clash against Warri Wolves in Owerri on Sunday.
Uzoho said his team is prepared to approach the encounter with discipline and aggression as they target maximum points.
He revealed that the squad has responded positively in training following their recent trip to Nasarawa, adding that focus has been high as the stakes increase.
“We’ve had a good week of training. The players have responded well after the long trip to Nasarawa and back,” Uzoho told the club’s media.
“The focus has been sharp and we’ve worked hard on the areas we need to improve. Everyone understands what is at stake.
“Our remaining five games are finals starting from the game against Warri Wolves. We will be disciplined and aggressive to secure the much needed victory.”
