Sporting Lagos has appointed right back Solomon Uloko as the club’s new captain.
Uloko, who joined the side in 2024, has become an integral part of the team and now takes on a leadership role as they pursue promotion.
The club sit second in the Conference B table with 27 points, five points below first-place Akwa United and remains firmly in contention for a place in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
His appointment comes at a crucial stage of the season, with Sporting Lagos aiming to maintain their momentum in the promotion race.
Uloko will lead the team into their next fixture against First Bank FC this weekend, a match that could prove decisive in their push for promotion.
