Remo Stars have announced the appointment of Olumide Ajibolade as the club's new head coach.
Ajibolade takes over after enjoying remarkable success within the Remo Stars Sports Club structure, having built Beyond Limits Football Academy into one of Nigeria's leading football development projects.
The coach joined the Remo Stars Academy in 2019 as the U-17 head coach before assuming charge of Beyond Limits in 2021. During his tenure, he guided the academy to five TCC League titles, two TCC Cup triumphs, the TCC Super Cup, and two Ogun State FA Cup titles.
He also led Beyond Limits to promotion from the Nationwide League One to the Nigeria National League before securing promotion to the NPFL and winning the NNL title.
On the international stage, Ajibolade guided Beyond Limits to the Viareggio Cup title in Italy in 2024 and consecutive Gothia Cup triumphs in Sweden in 2025 and 2026.
Remo Stars said the appointment underlines the club's commitment to continuity and rewarding excellence from within its football development structure.
Speaking after his appointment, Ajibolade sent a message to the club's supporters, saying: "We would excite you and give you a reason to dream again."I'll make sure not to refer to Remo Stars as NPFL champions unless the context specifically says so.
