Remo Stars Coach Celebrates Historic NPFL Title: “I’m Elited and Loving Every Moment”

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has expressed immense pride after leading his team to their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title in the 2024–25 season.

Ogunmodede, who guided the Ikenne-based club to a historic championship triumph, described the moment as one of “immense pride and joy,” highlighting the emotional significance of the achievement.

“What makes this moment even more special is that it coincides with the birthday of our influential club President, Kunle Soname,” he said. “Seeing him happy yesterday was a huge motivation for me and the entire team.”

He credited Soname’s unwavering support and investment in the club, adding that the president’s role in his personal development as a coach has been vital. “I’m grateful for the president’s patience and guidance over the years, particularly in helping me develop my technical skills,” Ogunmodede noted.

As Remo Stars celebrate their title-winning campaign, the coach summed it up simply: “I just want to bask in the glory of being a league champion.”
