The lineup for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup is complete, with 24 national teams securing their spots for the tournament scheduled to take place in Chile from September 27 to October 19.
As hosts, Chile automatically qualified and will be joined by 23 other nations from six football confederations.
AFC (Asia): Australia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea earned their places through the AFC U-20 Asian Cup.
CAF (Africa): Nigeria, Morocco, South Africa, and Egypt booked their spots through the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
CONCACAF (North and Central America): Cuba, Mexico, Panama, and the United States secured qualification through the CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
CONMEBOL (South America): In addition to host nation Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay will represent South America.
OFC (Oceania): New Zealand and debutants New Caledonia qualified through the OFC U-19 Championship.
UEFA (Europe): France, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Ukraine clinched their places through the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
The tournament marks a return for several nations, including Spain, Egypt, Paraguay, and Morocco, who have not participated in over a decade. Meanwhile, New Caledonia will make its first-ever appearance. Notably absent is reigning champion Uruguay, who failed to qualify for the event.
The draw for the group stage is expected to take place later this year.
