GreenLock FC have officially parted ways with head coach Bola Idris following a disappointing end to their 2025 Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One campaign, the club confirmed in a statement on Monday.
Competing at the Sagamu Centre, GreenLock FC needed back-to-back wins in their final two group matches to secure a playoff berth. However, the team managed only two draws, finishing second behind FC Ebedei.
In its statement, the club thanked Idris for his service, adding that a review of the squad’s Key Performance Index (KPI) in the crucial matches showed results “below the standard expected from the coaching staff.”
“Moving forward, the club has decided to end Coach Idris’s contract, and we wish him the very best in his future coaching career,” the statement concluded.
