Obasogie Out of Unity Cup Over Visa Issues, Set for Super Eagles Return Against Russia

Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has been ruled out of the ongoing 4 Nations Unity Cup due to visa complications.

The Singida Black Stars FC player was initially called up to represent Nigeria in the UK-hosted tournament but failed to secure a visa in time, forcing his withdrawal from the squad.

However, Obasogie is expected to link up with the Super Eagles ahead of their friendly against Russia on June 6, 2025. With only him and Maduka Okoye named in the goalkeeping department, the former Bendel Insurance star is in line to make his debut in the match.
