The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has announced robust plans to ensure a safe and seamless experience for fans attending the 2024/2025 President Federation Cup Grand Finale this Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
With the stadium expected to welcome thousands for the highly anticipated double-header, the LSFA has put in place enhanced security and crowd management protocols in line with international best practices.
“Every fan will be required to sit in their designated section, and access will be strictly limited to those with valid tickets or official accreditation,” the association confirmed in a statement.
In a bid to encourage mass participation, the LSFA has kept ticket prices accessible—₦500 for the popular stand and ₦10,000 for VIP seating.
The grand finale will see Rivers Angels defend their title against Nasarawa Amazons in the women’s final, before Abakaliki FC face NPFL side Kwara United in a much-anticipated men’s clash.
Describing the final as “an event for the history books,” the LSFA emphasised its commitment to delivering a top-class matchday experience combining tight security, fan-friendly pricing, and professional coordination.
Access to the stadium will be strictly monitored, with only ticket holders and accredited individuals permitted entry. The association also highlighted emergency response protocols, anti-overcrowding measures, and other safety plans to ensure the wellbeing of all attendees.
Calling for cooperation from supporters, clubs, media, and partners, the LSFA urged all stakeholders to support its efforts and comply with guidelines.
“We urge all football lovers to play their part in making this finale a safe and successful event,” the statement read.
Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early and join in a celebration of Nigerian football at one of the sport’s most significant domestic events.
