The Nationwide League One (NLO) has officially announced that the NLO25 Promotion Play-Off will begin on June 12, 2025, with eight qualified clubs vying for a place in the upper tiers of Nigerian football.
According to the NLO Secretariat, each qualified club is permitted to register five additional players specifically to replace any injured players in their squad. However, all clubs are required to make a payment of ₦150,000 to the NLO's FCMB account (Account Name: Nationwide League One, Account Number: 3267800014) to cover logistics for the play-off matches.
The deadline for the logistics payment is Monday, June 10, 2025. Clubs must send proof of payment to the NLO Accountant via WhatsApp on 08035825080.
Additionally, clubs are reminded to obtain official clearance for any players registered from other teams to avoid eligibility issues.
Arrival Dates:
- Southern Zone teams are expected to arrive on Tuesday, June 11, 2025.
- Northern Zone teams are to report on Tuesday, June 18, 2025.
The NLO emphasized the importance of compliance with these directives to ensure a smooth and successful play-off competition.
