Ikorodu City have set their sights on a stronger outing in the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season as preparations intensify behind the scenes.
The Lagos-based club, who narrowly missed out on continental qualification last season, are working to bolster their squad with top-quality players ahead of the new campaign.
Speaking with a reporter, head coach Nurudeen Aweroro revealed that the club is focused on improving its performance and making a bigger impact when the season kicks off.
"We are seriously preparing. We have been holding trials with some new players to get exceptional talents who can help us achieve our ambitions in the coming season," Aweroro said.
He added, "We are going to do better than what we did last season. I want to assure our fans that the new season will be an improvement."
