Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves FC, Napoleon Ahuma, has assured fans that the team will be fully prepared to compete favourably in the upcoming Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Speaking after guiding the club to victory in the 2024/25 Nigerian National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs, Coach Napoleon expressed confidence in his squad’s readiness for top-flight football.
“Warri Wolves FC is a household name in Nigerian football. We have been in the league before, and the experience showed during the NNL Super 8 playoffs,” he said. “We will intensify our efforts now, with quality reinforcements and experienced players joining the team to help our cause in the NPFL.”
The former Enyimba coach praised his players for their determination and credited them for the successful campaign.
“My players are the MVPs of the team. Throughout our time in the lower division, they showed great determination to return to the top flight. I am happy their efforts have finally paid off,” he told Tony Ademodi.
Coach Napoleon also extended his appreciation to the Delta State Government and the people of the state for their unwavering support.
“I sincerely thank the state government and the people of Delta State. Without their support, this success story would not have been possible,” he added.
Warri Wolves are making a return to the NPFL six years after their relegation to the NNL in 2019.
