Barau Football Club's new Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, took charge of his first training session on Monday as the Maliya Boys intensify preparations for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Bosso, who was appointed last month, was formally introduced to the squad by Barau FC President, Shawall Barau Jibrin, and the Club Chairman, Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji. The session was held at the club’s training ground in Kano and was witnessed by board members, the management team, coaching crew, and other club officials.
The training marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club under the experienced former national team coach, as Barau FC look to make a strong impression in their debut NPFL campaign.
Barau FC will begin their NPFL journey with a high-profile clash against eight-time champions Enyimba FC on 22 August 2025 at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano.
