Niger Tornadoes Chairman Stresses Discipline as The Club's NPFL Season Kicks Off

As Niger Tornadoes 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season gets underway, the club Chairman, Engr. Ibrahim Dada (FNSE), has called on players to uphold discipline as a core value for the campaign.

Addressing the squad during their final training session in Minna ahead of their rescheduled midweek clash against Nasarawa United in Ilorin, Engr. Dada highlighted discipline as the foundation for success.

“As we embark on this new season, I want to remind you all that discipline is essential to achieving our goals,” he said. “It is part of our team’s motto, and anything short of that will not be tolerated. I urge you all, especially our newly signed players, to take note of this and make it a priority.”

The chairman reaffirmed that maintaining the club’s league status remains a key target, urging the team to stay focused and committed throughout the season. “With our first match rescheduled to be played away from home, I expect everyone to be on their best behaviour and start the season on a good note,” he added.

In a strategic move to bolster the technical department, Coach Hamza Abdulazeez Abara has been appointed as the club’s Technical Director. Known for his wealth of NPFL experience, Abara is expected to play a vital role in guiding the team through the challenges of the season.
