The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will honour standout performers Yusuf Anas and Coach Daniel Ogunmodede in Abuja on Tuesday, September 2.
The event, initially delayed due to their involvement with the CHAN Eagles preparations and participation, will now take place as part of the league’s ongoing efforts to reward excellence.
NPFL Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye said the recognition aligns with the board’s commitment to promoting quality performances in the league. He noted that players, coaches and clubs who raise the standard of the league deserve to be celebrated.
Anas, who plays for Nasarawa United, emerged as the league’s top scorer with 17 goals, while Ogunmodede guided Remo Stars to their first-ever NPFL title.
Each award winner will receive N1.5 million along with a commemorative plaque as part of the reward package.
