Plateau United Unveil New Signings Ahead of New Season

Plateau United have announced the addition of four new players as part of their preparations for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Peace Boys confirmed the arrival of Tarabina Biweribo, a versatile defender who can play at centre-back and left-back, from Bayelsa United. Also joining the Jos-based side is Jonathan Okechukwu Stanley, a defensive midfielder previously with Crown FC.

The midfield has been further bolstered with the signing of Damala Promise Ezekiel from Katsina United, who will operate in an attacking role. Completing the list is winger Gideon Monday, who makes the switch from Shooting Stars SC.

Head coach Oluwasola Adegun expressed optimism about the new additions, highlighting the club’s intent to compete strongly in the coming campaign.

“These signings reflect our ambition,” Adegun said. “Each one brings fire, discipline, and purpose. We’re not just preparing — we’re building to compete.”

The club stated that the new signings are ready to represent the green and yellow of Plateau United with pride as they aim to make Jos proud once again.
