Anas Yusuf has been crowned the top scorer of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season after netting 18 goals.
The prolific forward was honoured in Abuja, where he received a ₦1.5 million cash prize and a commemorative plaque in recognition of his outstanding contribution during the NPFL25 campaign.
The Nasarawa State delegation to the ceremony was led by Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima, Chairman of the Nasarawa State FA, and Mr. Solomon Babanja, Chairman of Nasarawa United.
Notable football administrators present included Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, Chairman of the NPFL, and Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The colourful event celebrated individual excellence across the league, with Yusuf’s achievement as the season’s most prolific striker standing out as one of the highlights.
