Coach Onigbinde Akinade has officially stepped down as Technical Adviser of Doma United FC of Gombe, ending a successful three-year spell with the Savannah Tigers.
In his resignation letter dated 2 September 2025 and addressed to the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Suleman Umar, Akinade described his service at the club as “an honour and a rare privilege.” He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and the opportunity to lead the team through one of its brightest periods.
“Over the past three seasons, it has been an honour and a rare privilege to serve this great club under your able leadership. I am deeply grateful to you, Alhaji Suleman Umar, for entrusting me with the responsibility of guiding the team,” the letter stated.
The outgoing coach also commended the technical crew, players, and backroom staff for their professionalism and unity, which he credited as the foundation for the club’s growth and success.
