Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have departed for Chile to complete their preparations for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The team, led by coach Aliyu Zubairu, began their build-up in Abuja last month with a series of friendly matches designed to test the squad’s readiness.
In Chile, the Flying Eagles will continue their fine-tuning with additional friendlies before the competition begins. Zubairu is expected to announce his final 23-man squad later this week.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Norway. The Flying Eagles will begin their campaign against Norway on Monday, 29 September.
