Sokoto United have resumed training at the Giginya Memorial Stadium in preparation for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League campaign.
Eighteen players have so far reported to camp, with more expected to join in the coming days. General Manager, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Maraya, welcomed the players back and encouraged others to arrive without delay.
He assured supporters that Head Coach Peter Ageni and his technical crew are already putting the squad through intensive sessions to ensure a strong start to the season.
Alhaji Maraya expressed confidence that the new campaign will produce positive results for the club. He urged unity, discipline, and hard work among the players while promising that Sokoto United will give fans reasons to celebrate in the months ahead.
