Warri Wolves FC ended a frustrating run against Enugu Rangers with a commanding 2-0 win on matchday two of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Godwin Oham opened the scoring with a clinical volley just before half-time, while Prince Ebhohon sealed the result in the 77th minute with a powerful header. The win snaps a three-match losing streak for the Delta State side against Rangers.
With two straight victories, Warri Wolves sit second on the league table with six points. They will travel to face defending champions and CAF Champions League representatives, Remo Stars, at the Ultra Modern Remo Stadium this weekend.
Rangers, still without a win after a goalless draw against Kun-Khalifat FC in their opening fixture, will aim for a turnaround when they host bottom-placed Plateau United in matchday three.
