Warri Wolves have confirmed the reinstatement of Technical Adviser Aluma Napoleon following a two-month suspension, with the coach returning to take full charge of the squad ahead of this weekend’s Nigeria Premier Football League fixture.
Napoleon resumes duties immediately and will lead preparations for Sunday’s clash with league leaders Nasarawa United at the Southern Delta State University Stadium in Ozoro. His return brings an end to a difficult spell for the Seasiders, who placed assistant coach Johnny Austin in interim control during the suspension.
The decision to suspend Napoleon in late September was attributed to a poor run of results shortly after the club secured promotion back to the top flight. Under Austin, Wolves played eight league matches, recording three wins, three draws and two defeats.
Warri Wolves are ninth on the table with 19 points from 14 matches. Club officials believe Napoleon’s reinstatement will bring renewed stability and technical direction as the team aims to remain competitive and secure another season in the NPFL.
The club congratulated the coach on his return and expressed confidence in his ability to guide the squad through the challenges ahead.
