Enyimba FC have completed the signing of forward Eko Barine for the remainder of the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Barine joins the nine-time NPFL champions from Godswill Akpabio FC, who compete in the Nigeria National League.
The striker enjoyed an explosive start to the 2025–26 NNL campaign, scoring three goals in three matches. He netted a brace in a 5-1 victory over First Bank FC before adding another goal against Abeokuta Stormers.
His arrival is expected to strengthen Enyimba’s attacking options as the People’s Elephant push to improve their league position.
Barine will now compete for a starting role as he looks to make an immediate impact in Aba.
