The Nigeria Women Football League has announced Daniella Fagbenro of Remo Stars Ladies as the Matchday 8 Top Performer in the 2025/26 Premiership season.
Fagbenro earned the accolade following her brace against Delta Queens, a performance that secured victory for her side and stood out among the weekend’s fixtures.
The forward polled 1,239 votes to finish top in the final round of fan voting.
Ifeoma Damian of Adamawa Queens came second with 1,084 votes, while Victory Lucky of Sunshine Queens finished third with 489 votes.
Umejiaku Oluebube of Heartland Queens secured 288 votes to place fourth, with Mary Mamudu of Edo Queens rounding off the top five with 203 votes.
The league body congratulated Fagbenro for her outstanding display and commended all nominees for their decisive contributions on Matchday 8.
