Wikki Tourists have appointed Chief Coach Bashir Saleh as interim Technical Adviser following the resignation of Abdu Maikaba.
The Bauchi-based club confirmed Maikaba’s departure earlier this week after the former adviser submitted his resignation, citing disunity among stakeholders and safety concerns.
In a statement released on Thursday, the club announced that Saleh will take charge of the team’s technical affairs on an interim basis.
Saleh, a CAF B Licence holder, will lead the side to Enugu for their NPFL26 Matchday 26 fixture against Rangers International.
He previously served as Chief Coach of Wikki Tourists under Garba Ibrahim and also worked with Gombe United under Aliyu Zubairu.
The management expressed confidence in Saleh and wished him and the team success ahead of the trip to Enugu.
