Kano Pillars captain Ahmed Musa has dedicated his match-winning goal against Barau FC to the club’s supporters who turned out in large numbers at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Musa scored the decisive goal as Kano Pillars secured a 1-0 victory over Barau FC in their Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 29 clash on Sunday.
The former Super Eagles captain was later named Man of the Match following his performance in front of a packed home crowd.
Thousands of fans filled the Sani Abacha Stadium to cheer the team, providing strong support throughout the contest.
Speaking after the match, Musa praised the supporters and said their presence inspired the players.
“This victory belongs to you, the fans. The support you showed us gave us great strength on the field,” Musa said.
The Kano Pillars faithful once again demonstrated their reputation as one of the most passionate fan bases in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
