The Nationwide League One has issued a final notice to clubs regarding the registration deadline for the 2026 football season, confirming that payments will close on Saturday, March 14.
According to the league secretariat, any club that fails to complete its registration payment by 12.00 midnight on the deadline date will be excluded from the league.
The NLO stated that the deadline cannot be extended because it was approved by the league Congress, which is the highest decision making body of the competition.
Clubs that fail to meet the financial requirement will be regarded as having withdrawn from the league in line with Article 2.01(3) of the regulations, which mandates all clubs to affiliate with their state and pay the annual registration fee determined by the NLO Board.
The secretariat advised clubs to ensure that all payments are processed and confirmed before the midnight deadline to avoid losing their league status and participation rights.
It was also confirmed that the groupings for the 2026 season will only include clubs that have completed full payment.
Meanwhile, the NLO disclosed that its newly digitalised website for the 2026 registration process will be available to clubs that have fulfilled their payment obligations by March 14.
