Suleiman Vows to Overcome Hurdles After Goalless Draw with Rangers

Kwara United were held to a 0-0 draw by Rangers International F.C. in Matchday 30 of the Nigeria Premier Football League at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Sunday.

Fresh from consecutive victories, the Harmony Boys sought to extend their winning run but were unable to convert their chances despite several attacking forays. Samsudeen Muhammed tested the Rangers defence early in the game, only for his effort to be blocked. Kwara United continued to press, but the Flying Antelopes defended resolutely.

After the break, coach Ashifat Suleiman made tactical substitutions to bolster the attack, but the breakthrough proved elusive. Gidado Toheeb came close on two occasions, with Rangers’ goalkeeper producing smart saves to keep the scores level. At the other end, Suraj Ayeleso made key stops to preserve the clean sheet.

Speaking after the match, Suleiman stressed the importance of maintaining focus on league survival. “We will continue to fight until we overcome the hurdles and secure our place in the league,” he said.
