Doma United FC Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Suleiman Umar, has urged newly invited players to give their best as the club continues its screening exercise ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The CEO met with the players at Pantami Stadium, Gombe, where he welcomed them to the club and encouraged them to approach the exercise with commitment, discipline and determination.
Umar assured the participants that the selection process would be based on merit, adding that every talented player would have a fair chance to earn a place in the team.
"Any player that is good will be picked. We believe in ability, commitment, and hard work," he said.
The Doma United CEO described the club as "a land of grace" and noted that the team provides opportunities for dedicated players to develop their careers and achieve success in football.
He further charged the players to remain focused and showcase their abilities on the pitch, stressing that impressive performances during the screening exercise would determine who makes the squad.
The ongoing exercise is part of Doma United's preparations for the upcoming NPFL campaign as the club looks to build a competitive team capable of meeting its objectives in the top flight.
