Warinji FC Founder Targets Rapid Rise to NNL and NPFL

The founder and proprietor of Warinji FC, Abubakar Mai Auduga, has unveiled an ambitious plan to steer the Bauchi-based club to the Nigeria National League (NNL) and eventually the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) within two years.

Speaking to journalists, Mai Auduga reaffirmed his commitment to building a competitive team, highlighting player welfare and quality recruitment as key pillars of his vision.

"My team is 100% ready. We’re focused, determined, and hungry to make history," he declared.

Warinji FC are currently gearing up for the Nationwide League One (NLO) play-offs — a decisive phase in their quest for NNL promotion.

With high-performance standards and strategic direction under Mai Auduga’s leadership, the club is beginning to attract attention from fans and stakeholders alike.

Should the plan succeed, Warinji FC could emerge as one of Nigeria’s elite sides, serving as a model for private football ownership and effective long-term planning.
