Niger Tornadoes Mourn Passing of Feeder Team Coach Ahmed Nuhu



Niger Tornadoes have expressed deep sorrow following the sudden death of their feeder team’s Chief Coach, Ahmed Nuhu, popularly known as Babayo. The coach passed away earlier today in Minna shortly after attending Jumu'ah prayers.

Engr. Ibrahim Dada, Chairman of the Niger Tornadoes Management Committee, extended condolences on behalf of the club’s management, staff, and players to the family of the late coach.

Coach Babayo was widely respected for his significant contributions to football in Niger State, particularly his role in developing young talent at the grassroots level. His dedication and passion for the sport earned him admiration across the local football community.

The club prayed that Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus and offered support and comfort to his grieving family during this difficult time.

Niger Tornadoes FC management concluded by honouring Coach Babayo’s lasting legacy in Nigerian football and wished him eternal rest.
