Warri Wolves technical adviser Aluma Napoleon has admitted that tactical errors cost his side in their 4-2 defeat to Rangers in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Sunday.
The Seasiders saw their three-match unbeaten run come to an end at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, where Rangers produced a dominant display to claim all three points.
Napoleon said his team struggled to impose their game plan, conceding that Rangers disrupted their rhythm from the start.
“Honestly, Rangers unsettled our game plan,” Napoleon said after the match.
He added that further mistakes while chasing the game proved costly.
“As we were trying to come back, we made some other tactical mistakes which led to the fourth goal,” he explained.
Despite the setback, Warri Wolves remain 10th on the league table with 30 points as the season progresses.
