Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has shifted attention to the club’s Matchday 22 encounter against Abia Warriors following their return to winning ways in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Solid Miners edged Niger Tornadoes 2-1 in Lafia last Sunday, a result that lifted them to fourth place on the league table with 35 points.
With momentum restored, Mangut is now focused on the challenge ahead as Nasarawa United prepare to face Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium this weekend.
“We treat each game as it comes, and we will now set our focus on the next game against Abia Warriors in Umuahia, Abia State, next weekend,” Mangut told the club’s media.
Last season’s meeting between both sides at the same venue ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sunday Megwo scoring for Abia Warriors and Mohammed Garba replying for Nasarawa United.
