Kano Pillars forward Ahmed Musa has insisted the club will keep battling until the final day of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Sai Masu Gida claimed a crucial 1-0 win over Katsina United on Wednesday, with Musa scoring the match-winning goal to secure all three points.
Speaking after the game, the former Super Eagles captain admitted it was a difficult contest but applauded his team’s resilience and determination.
“It was a tough game, but we got the three points at the end of 90 minutes,” Musa told the Kano Pillars FC media team.
Musa stressed that Kano Pillars must maintain their fighting spirit in every remaining fixture as they seek to climb out of the relegation zone.
“We have to keep fighting, and in every game we will go all out to get the points,” he said.
“At the end of the season, we will see where we are. By the grace of Allah, we will be out of this situation.”
The Kano Pillars talisman also praised the club’s supporters, describing them as the key force driving the team forward in their survival push.
“The power behind Kano Pillars is the fans, and we are going to do our best to win and get out of relegation,” Musa added.
“The best gift we can give them is to keep winning.”
The victory over Katsina United has boosted Kano Pillars’ hopes of survival as they continue their fight to move away from danger in the NPFL standings.
